About Me

Found Footage Festival is a celebration of odd and hilarious videos found at thrift stores and garage sales, and in dumpsters and warehouses across the country. Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher, whose credits include The Onion and Late Night With David Letterman, began collecting found videotapes in 1991 after stumbling across a training video entitled, “Inside and Outside Custodial Duties” in a McDonald’s break room. Since then, they have compiled an impressive collection of strange, outrageous and profoundly stupid videos.
