I would like to talk a little bit about the Growing planets theory, particularly Earth.  This theory is not new, it has been around for a while now, but recently Neal Adams has been bringing new research to light.  Here are some of his arguments which would prove that the Earth is in fact getting bigger:

1.  Dinosaurs - If you look at the tyrannosaurus rex, you would probably say it was a carnivore, and a very quick mover.  Look at its build; it stands upright with long forward facing legs.  If you were to guess, two legs would act like a damn engine powering that sucker all over the place snatching up its prey.  But the only problem with this is the size and structure of the tyrannosaurus rex.  Bone is only so strong, and being that kind of build, in the gravity that we know of today tells us that, if that dinosaur was running and then decided to stop quickly, or even take a tight turn, its neck would snap irght off.  You see, its head would weigh about the same as a damn motorcycle; bone is not that strong to hold that under the gravity we know of today.  The tyrannosaurus rex was larger than an elephant and it was obviously a fast paced predator.  If you are a believer that gravity is the product of mass, then it would only make sense that the world was about a quarter of the size of what it is today about 200 million years ago.  Also, dinosaurs had no hair, because the entire world was subtropical.  They also migrated, we know this because birds are the last of the dinosaurs that we have today; it would make sense if the world had been smaller because it would not be large enough to have the upper and lower parts to be effected by the chill from being such a distance from the equator.

2.  Pangea - Whichever way you look at it, pangea is still a theory.  Pangea really is an outdated idea that really needs to be further studied if you ask me.  Just look at the world and the pangea idea... it just doesnt make sense.  All the land in the world was just put together in the middleof theplanet, and then it started drifting apart huh???  I dont think that makes sense.  But, if you look at the map, that idea does fit doesnt it?  You can match up all the continents like a jigsaw puzzle and they would fit together, right? Correct, but if you match them up on the other side, they also fit together.  Thihnk of it as a balloon.  Imagine a small balloon with all continents fitting perfectly together with all borders mapped out, then blow it up, you will be amazed.  This has been done on youtube so if you are interested enough, you'll be able to find it.

3.  The rotation of the Earth - What do all the large planets have in common?  They are all fast rotating planets.  This would mean that the rotation of their axes would give a pull on the planet as it continually forms and shapes itself.  What happens when you spin around in circles with your hands pulled in, then you open them some, you feel that resistance puling out and your arms seem to want to pull out more and more the faster you spin.  Earth is a very fast rotating planet, and i truly believe that it has a long way to go, or grow...

Im not trying to say I know everything about this theory, I read up on this a while back and thought it was something really interesting to share. Im bored so i thought id see what you people thought about it.  Do some further research if it peaks your interest, these are only the key points that proved it to me, and that i remember, it really is an interesting concept and is worth looking into.
